Gazer's guide for Mages (part-1)



GAZER’s Mages Guide  To Glory
Hello guys! Wellcome to my blog.
This is my first guide for wartune first of all I wanna tell about myself I am Gazerbeam from wartune r2games server s1 (Temple Of Ibalize).Below is a picture of my stats as for the time of writing:

Now one more thing I want u guys to know is that I am a total non-casher so yes I am not a beast in BG but can still make enough kills.


Now lets come to the point.(This guide is for the players who already know the basics of this game)
First of all I wanna tell u what r the main stats for ur mage to have:
1:Matk (Magical Attack):
            This is ur main stat cause only 1 class out of 3 deal Matk so the other 2 classes have low mdef that’s y they take more damage from u.All u gotta do is get this as high as u can to kill the opponent fast enough before he lands his attacks on u.And don’t forget to get passive skill Mana Master for 15% Matk increase.

2:Pdef (physical Defence):
            This should be ur second priority.As u know 2 classes deal physical damage u need to get this stat good enough to survive in MP arenas.
3:HP (Health):
            Now this stat is on third cause mages get a passive of 15%mdef increase from their skill tree.HP can help u with fighting any class including mages.
4:Mdef (Magical Defence):
            Get this stat as high as u can if u wanna be a GOD amongst mages.And yeah don’t forget to get the passive skill Healing Empowerment for 20% Mdef increase.



Now lets come to astrals:
I am listing all the astrals as per priority:
1: Matk
2: Pdef
3: Block
4: Mdef
5: Enhanced will destroyer
6: Refined goddess blessing
7: Enhanced Deflection
Now for Matk, Pdef and Mdef I already explained y u need em. lets talk about the other astrals I listed out there…


1:Enhanced Block:
            Some would say it is only good for knights as knight have the passive skill which has 50%chance to heal 5%hp  when a block is activated.Ok lets see Block reduces damage taken by 25%.So I think it is good for everyone…Lets see how much block u should get minimum. The formula for block activation is (1-0.9995^block score)*100 %. Now according to this I am listing down the amount of block u need to acquire the required percentage of activation:


2: Enhanced Will Destroyer:
            This astral should be used only if u r not a critical mage.This astral increases ur damage by 5% per level with a level 5 will destroyer u can increase ur damage by about 25%.So I think it is a must have astral.Level this up as fast as u can.



3: Refined Goddess Blessing:
            This astral reduces the damage taken by 3% per level.This is pretty usefull astral as u must know……




4:Enhanced Deflection:
            This astral reflects the damage taken.Every time u r hit by ur opponent u have 10% chance to reflect x% of damage.The % of damage reflected depends on ur astral level,every level it increases the damage done by 10% and can deal a maximum of 50000 damage.So suppose u r hit by 30k crit and with this astral u reflected even 20000 damage back I think It pretty good without using ur turn.




Lets come to sylphs this is the part that everybody loves…..At this time there are 5 sylphs:
1: Apollo
2: Iris
3: Pan
4: Amazon Queen
And
5: Gaia
Now for mages it’s a bit complicated as Iris can heal good and Amazon queen deal Patk so is good against mages and Gaia deals Matk is good against knights and archers.
Mages have already pretty good healing skills so I think they should now try to go attack sylph.Now for class wars I would recommend mages to use Amazon Queen and for BG……I think u should use gaia as u will also be meeting archers and knights around there.
Each sylph also give a passive skill which increases character’s specific state by some %.As to the conclusions I say gaia is best for mages as it gives 5%matk increase too and gaia Delphic can kill most of the opponents with less than 50% hp.But yeah try to get Amazon Queen for class wars too…
Now about upgrading sylphs:
As for februaury 2014 almost every event Is coming with mahras as prices.For those who don’t what mahra is “Mahra is used to upgrade ur sylphs rarity.Upgrading rarity also increase sylph br gain per level and also increases the maximum limit for a stat”.Now as we know most of event come with mahras so try to get the best  prize from the event first then go for mahra with the remaining material.
There r currently 5 rarity levels for sylphs:

1: White
2: Green
3: Blue
4: Purple
5: Orange
Now u can farm sylph essence from sylph atoll and exchange 60 of them for sylph seal.There is a random chance for dropping a white green or even blue sylph from there.The chances for getting White sylph is about 91% and for green is about 8.5% and for blue its like 0.5%(which is very rare).U can try to get blue sylph if u cant afford to use some extra mahras by upgrading green to blue or directly farm for green sylph until u get one and start upgrading it.U can also increase sylph stats by using speclrums which u can acquire from event,sylph arena,by sacrificing a sylph etc.


Guess this is all about sylph.
Now lets come talents:
     I am not going to talk about it but in talents everyone is getting there stun level higher so they can spam stun and win battles so what u can do is first try to get level 1 Momentum , Barrier , Focus and Survival talents then get ur talent to an average holy seal level as compare to other players near ur level after that again start working on the four talents u already just try to keep holy seal at an average level as compare to ur level.
Now about skills:
         Mages r mostly used to heal others so its get pretty omplicated if u don’t have second skill tree and if u r not level 60 or above. If u have second skill tree then use one tree for healing skills and other for attack skills.
Healing tree:
           In this tree get ur mana master and healing empowerment to max then first max ur sunto restoration then get thunder bolt of whatever level u can .Next if u still have skill points left try to get blessed light.
This is also used if u don’t have double skill tree.
Attack skills:
         I mages go for healing skills then its hard for them to get attack skill if they ain’t 60 yet so they definitely need em if they wanna be good fighters in wb and else. As I said on the first one first max out mana master and healing empowerment then start going straight for thunderer max it out then again  come to healing skills

Gems:
             They are a great way of increasing your battle rating. U can acquire them from bg chest guild altar jewel hunt catacombs etc. U should try to open all slots in ur equipments using socketing rods which u can get from guild altar, shop, bg ches6ts and warrior’s mark which u can get my getting 100 pvp points per week. Now the priority should  be like this:
1: Matk
2: Pdef
3: HP
4: Mdef


Refines:
              U can refine ur equipment by using refinement crystals which u can get by refining equipment. Just try to get the following stats:
1: Defence
2: Intellect
3: Matk
4: Pdef
5: Mdef





Guild skills:
           U can upgrade ur guild skill to maximum of 10 levels per skill.The higher the guild skill tower level the more u can upgrade ur skills. First get ur intellect, endurance and defence at level 5 then max out intellect then defence then endurance. After this u can go for gold production which requires pretty less money to get upgraded….



World Boss:
               WB is the best way to earn gold and daru and its all about damage so this is the part which complicated if u don’t have thunderer or double skills. Anyways if u don’t have thunderer just try doing double hit with auto attack+thunderbolt and I u do have a thunderer just keep casting thunderer whenever u have enough rage.And yeah when u have sylph gaia do one whole round with player skills and other round with gaia ,try to buy unstable voltage passive for gaia and then u can do gaia Delphic in last so u get an extra 25% damage increase.And yes u can also double attack with sylph skills too u can watch bvideo for double hitting on youtube I cant show u the link as youtuba is banned out here…(If u cant do double skill its better to go afk with the same skills)




Troop enlightment:
            Troop enlightment can increase ur player hp or defence or attack              by % of troop’s this requires a huge amount of daru .I would recommend u to get troop Matk enlightment….


           
Euipments:
            Now there are 2 types of equipments in game:
1: PVP:
These are easy to acquire u can get them from arena shop.
I would not recommend these…they give some nice bonus like decrease opponent def by some amount and hp increase.....
2: PVE:
          

These can be acquired by entering the correspondent MPD(Multiplayer Player Dungeon).These are way more better than PVE as they give some damage boost and also a 10 rage gain on each action.To make these u need crystalloid and legendary stones to make them epic equipment.U can get crystalloids from mpd.For example:
U need 80 level 3 crstalloid to make one equipment to make all 4 u need 320 of them.U can get crystalloid from The Void. Now they can also be made legend for that u need 50 level 40 legend stones which u can get by doing Void nightmare which gives both crystalloids and legend stones.
At the end I would recommend these from level 30 onwards because mages need some good rage to cast their healing spells
